2010...IT companies have started hiring. Like many of others..I am also a struggler in this rat race. I got an oppertunity to sit for an interview in a top MNC. After interview I was informed that my profile is not matching with their requirement and it is put on hold. Within next few days the same MNC called me for an interview. I cleared it and filled the employment form declaring all the truth that I have already appeared for interview before. In the next round I was asked lot of questions by HR on different point filled in the employment form. But there was no question on my previous interview. While leaving the office I was assured that within two days I will get the offer letter. Suddenly got a call from the HR telling this is a policy that, ppl can't sit within 6 months and they are not able to process my offer letter. Now...if this is really a policy...I have three question.
- Is this really acceptable that a top MNC for whom this is a policy, is unable to check whether a person is coming for the first time, before a person appear for an interview?
- If this is a strict rule, how a top MNC HR is missing the point while checking an employment form and asking hell lot of question on all points written in it?
- Is it really justified that a HR policy, for which a candidate can be blacklisted, the HR is nvr mentioning it in any mails or any phone conversation and suddenly declaring before releasing the offer letter?
